Today we attended Photofest in Dublin, which took place in the lovely spaces of the Crown Plaza Hotel.
The event ran from 10:00 to 17:00. A few people were still a bit sleepy in the morning, but nothing a cup of coffee couldn’t fix.
There were several stands from local Irish brands, as well as international names like Canon, Fujifilm, Manfrotto, Nikon, and more. The main highlights were two seminars by UK-based Olympus photographer Damian McGillicuddy, focused on fashion portraiture photography.
The second presentation, titled ‘Drones in Ireland,’ was given by Ian Mac Mahon, an aerial photographer with over thirty years of experience, and Ian Kiely.
